2024 was an extraordinary year for Tiwi Enterprises. Together, we celebrated remarkable achievements and laid the groundwork for an even stronger 2025.

Your dedication to our Vision and Mission, particularly around Tiwi employment opportunities and economic development, is the heartbeat of everything we do.
The past year was a time of growth, innovation, and meaningful progress. Here are a few highlights that demonstrate the incredible strides we’ve made together as a team, a business, and a community:
- Tiwi Employment Milestones
We’ve grown the number of Tiwi staff members to an impressive 36 individuals. This includes our thriving cleaning, garden maintenance, and car hire detailing teams, showcasing our ability to create sustainable job opportunities for local people.
- Caring for Our Elderly
The success of the Calvary Maintenance Agreement has been a significant achievement. This initiative emphasises the importance of caring for our elderly and has been a proud accomplishment for our local staff.
- Mantiyupwi Motel Excellence
Our Mantiyupwi Motel has reached unprecedented levels of occupancy. This milestone underscores our commitment to operational excellence and creating exceptional experiences for all.
- Expanding Maintenance Contracts
Our Maintenance Teams have diligently managed multiple contracts, including maintaining properties and community boundaries for the Office of Township Leasing, overseeing Telstra tower sites for NQCSS, and managing Power and Water lines to the Bore Fields.
- A Home for the Future
The completion of the Tiwi Enterprises staff village has significantly strengthened our presence and security on the Tiwi Islands. Not only is this facility a morale booster, but it also provides long-term value as a key investment for the Mantiyupwi Clan Group.
- Sea Darwin Sea Tiwi
Owning Sea Darwin Sea Tiwi for over 12 months has been an incredible learning experience. We’ve united two incredible teams, combining diverse strengths to shape an exciting future for 2025 and beyond.
Looking Ahead to an Exciting 2025
The new year holds endless promise, with opportunities that will take us to new heights. Our marine tourism expansion into the Tiwi Islands through Sea Darwin Sea Tiwi has some incredible cultural events and immersive experiences planned for the 2025 calendar. These initiatives not only propel our tourism ventures forward but also promote Tiwi culture and enrich our visitors’ experiences.
We expect 2025 will bring new challenges and opportunities that will push us further. Together, with the guidance of our exceptional Directors and our Management team, we will continue to innovate and achieve extraordinary milestones. We will focus on enhancing quality of life on the islands, growing employment opportunities, and creating memorable visitor experiences.
